About  |  Description

Certified Travel Counsellor Julie DupuisOwned and operated by Certified Travel Counsellor & Tour Specialist Julie Dupuis, Journiac Travel & Tours is a full-service agency dedicated to helping independent adventurers plan the perfect, stress-free trip. Itinerary planning services are especially perfect for those who don’t have the time or inclination to spend on organizing their vacations, but who still want a personalized and customized travel experience.

A lifelong traveller and long-time travel blogger, Julie became a travel agent after organizing a multi-generational group family vacation. Seeing how complex travel planning could be, she realized that with her exceptional organizational skills and varied travel experience, she could help so many others plan smooth and successful trips.

After three years of operations, Journiac Travel & Tours also began designing unique guided tours and self-guided packages themed around fitness and wellness, especially for hikers, paddlers, cyclists, runners, walkers, yoga practitioners, foodies, and meditators. As someone who has been committed to healthy living since adolescence, this new business focus is ultimately a fusion of all of Dupuis’s greatest passions as well as a few newer interests.

Travel Experience

Julie has been on numerous family vacations, including with her grand-parents and young nieces and nephews, and knows how complicated multi-generational travel — and travelling with children in particular — can be. She has backpacked, hitch-hiked, and gone on road trips abroad, and has even lived in another country for a year. She’s travelled independently, been on escorted/guided tours, and stayed at all-inclusive resorts. And since she’s had travel companions with special needs, she can relate to the challenges involved in planning accessible travel.
